We're only expecting 6 people. Pretty much just his grandparents and great grandparents. That's all we can handle right now with everything being such a mess. Our room still isn't done from our renos and I'm not allowing anyone to go downstairs. It just isn't safe right now.

I forgot to tell you guys that I had my feet measured for orthotics. They are going to cost a fortune but I hope they work. My feet have been bothering me since last summer. I'm on a list for physio but who knows how long I have to wait. Plus, I need to start exercising and lose weight. It's hard to walk or exercise when your feet hurt.

OMG talk about a coincidence! On Tuesday night I was totally stressed so I told the boys I was going out for a walk to clear my head. Within 1/2 hour I had a blister on my second toe so I hobbled to Walmart to get some blister bandaids. $5 for 8!!! But they stick great (all 3 are still on today) and I was able to walk home. I have NO arches so my feet are flat to the ground, my knees bend in and the longer I'm on my feet, the worse my lower back feels. It doesn't help that I had a bunion surgically removed when I was 16 and the one on my right foot has been bugging me for the last few weeks. So, I went to see about orthotics. $400 for them but first I need to get into the doctor to get a prescription and only $200 will be covered. It'll be worth it.
I'd also like to get out and walk some more but until I get orthotics that is a painful task.

OK -so we had a great time in Quebec City and area. We (well the kids) went tubing, (ok I tried but my big butt kept bouncing off the tube to go up and well I gave up). We went dog sledding - that was great!!

Took the kids to the in mall amusment park, not as big as in Edmonton, but what the heck it was a treat. Went to the ice hotel (had to pay to get in grrr), it is colder inside the hotel than it is outside. Never did find where the toilets where. LOL

We did some sightseeing and I even got 2 days of rest!!

Have been home for 3 hours and I have done some shopping for food for tonight and then went on PS and the Farm. LOL

I will be loading the pics from the trip later for you all to see.

I now am going boack to try to read the over 40 pages!!! That I missed.
