CHIPS AHOY! Cheesecake Sandwiches
(borrowed from Kraft)

Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 3 hr 10 min
Makes: 10

125 g (1/2 of 250-g pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Brick Cream Cheese, softened

2 Tbsp. sugar


1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping


20 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies


6 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted


BEAT cream cheese and sugar with mixer until well blended. Stir in Cool Whip with whisk.
COVER bottom (flat) side of each of 10 cookies with about 2 Tbsp. cream cheese mixture; top each with second cookie to form sandwich. Dip half of each sandwich in chocolate; gently shake off excess chocolate. Place in single layer in airtight container.
FREEZE 3 hours or until firm.

So, I just got off the phone with the insurance adjuster regarding hydro usage. When they were drying out the basement, they put in 10 fans, 2 dehumidifiers, and a heater. Well, we went through about a month's worth of hydro in about 5 1/2 days. So, we wanted to know if it would be covered under the claim.

It turns out it is, but only if you ask for it. Our adjuster estimates that each piece of equipment uses $2.50/day worth of hydro. So, he said that he would take the cost to run all of the fans and stuff from our deductible. I said, don't you do that automatically? And he told me that they don't unless the clients ask about it. So, we have a $500 deductible, but will only be paying now just under $340 for our deductible.

Am I ever glad that I asked about it!!

I think it's ridiculous that people have to ask about it, though. So, if you guys ever have to make an insurance claim and they have to run equipment for days on end, make sure you ask to have the hydro covered!!

Yummy they look good to even me and I'm not a big fan of sweets. lol maybe I shouldn't say this you all might not like me anymore, I finally tried the toberlone you all rave about told my dh don't know what the big deal is their alright. lol honestly just don't eat many sweets I like fruit pies but thats about it would much rather have a good peach or orange then chocolate.

Andit there's really nowhere she feels safe I think we are her security blankets. She didn't use to react to storms like this until after the hurricanes but since then she is absolutely terrified but last night was worse then normal I have no idea why it wasn't a bad storm or anything just some wind howling, thunder but that wasn't terribly loud and rain. Her bunny she loves will keep that aside for storms other then that the things she'd normal hide under she can't stay still to hide under so don't know what I'd use. Aubrey keeps her nails clipped and files them with pedipaws my skin is just so horribly thin especially on my arms that it doesn't take much for it to break. lol I swear I glare at it and it'll break darn near anyway. I wanted to get caps over her claws lol well actually wanted to declaw her like a cat!!! Love her but hate that she can't touch me without making me bleed and thats about how bad it is. Thought about putting baby booties on her when I hold her

BG nice to know you have to ask for that coverage and good you did ! I can't believe these companies making money off of people or at least not offering coverage to people unless they ask. No wonder insurance firms make more and more money each and every year. Sad
