ok i finally posted on a local cafe group about my missing cat.

What do you guys think?

Missing Kitty Cat

I raised a litter of unwanted kittens and became very close to them. Cashmere, the only Male has been missing for 5 days. We have searched the property to no avail. He is a rather large cat, tiger an white with some subtle brown spots. I have applied for help with a neuter, however he is currently unfixed.

If you can help, I am looking for a Male, tiger and white, unfixed Male cat that belongs back with is humane and cat family. He can be skittish however is Extremely lovable.

When i figure out where to put a picture I will attach. I appreciate your help.

A couple of things. I'd stress that Cashmere (cute name!) is a beloved family pet who got out accidently & that the kids are worried about him. Also that he was originally one of (? number) in a litter of unwanted kittens you raised & found homes for. I'd also not say that you've applied for help with the neuter, just say that you've conferred with your vet & were waiting for the appropriate time to have him neutered (no one's business why).

There are some overly zealous people out there who see an unfixed critter out loose & assume that the owner is irresponsible & doesn't deserve to own a pet.

with cream cheese layered between chocolate chip cookies then
dipped in melted chocolate. omg it looks so good.

Aph - I know you've searched your property for Cashmere, but he might have gotten scared & is hiding. Does he have a favorite toy or treat? I know you've got other critters, does he have a favorite playmate? If you have one of the other kittens, maybe put them on a leash & take them with you when you go looking, as well as something with a strong odor, like freshly cooked liver or a freshly opened can of tuna. Go out early morning around dawn or at dusk, that's when the strays I help with come out of hiding. Also check your shed, garage, under stairs, anywhere he could hide. See if you can get your neighbors to do the same.

Get his picture out to the local animal control & every vet in the area, even if they seem far away. Someone might have picked him up by car & driven to a diff city even.

CHIPS AHOY! Cheesecake Sandwiches
(borrowed from Kraft)

Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 3 hr 10 min
Makes: 10

125 g (1/2 of 250-g pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Brick Cream Cheese, softened

2 Tbsp. sugar


1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping


20 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies


6 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted


BEAT cream cheese and sugar with mixer until well blended. Stir in Cool Whip with whisk.
COVER bottom (flat) side of each of 10 cookies with about 2 Tbsp. cream cheese mixture; top each with second cookie to form sandwich. Dip half of each sandwich in chocolate; gently shake off excess chocolate. Place in single layer in airtight container.
FREEZE 3 hours or until firm.



I am so going to make these on the weekend...
