Every survey promises to send you something "if you qualify" and odds are that I normally don't. I have been sent stuff to review though, so that always fun. I have never received amazon gift cards though, how long does that take? I think I got a $10 cheque once.

This one said nothing about "if you qualify". I quoted exactly what it said in my prior post above..

The gift cards are sent out about a month after you do the survey.

People were asking about the time it took to receive gift certificates. I looked up my posts on here and found that I did a 30 minute razors survey on May 1st.. and then received my $20 amazon.ca gc on June 5th.

I guess I didn't get that particular survey because I only really get product testers or I do a survey and then nothing. I am on ipsos too, so I may be confusing the two, there's has a play now thing at the end right?

I received mine late last week & am just waiting on the follow-up survey now. in answer to your question, I didn't receive anything afterwards, no. the first e-mail stated I'd be compensated in the form of a gc only if I had completed the survey, which I did. I only received confirmation about the gc because I e-mailed them asking when I could expect it to arrive.

in other news, that "lame gift" link in your signature made me laugh... I still haven't lived down the time I got my boyfriend a toaster for our first christmas. one gift amongst many but still... a toaster.

oh man chillray, sorry to hear that. processing times wouldn't mean a thing if they could at least reply to your queries and let you know what's going on. the lack of communication is not cool, makes me wonder how I ever received a response. how about a more effective means of communication? if you're comfortable with it, attempt a phonecall: (800)268-7115.

it sounds as if they're overwhelmed or backed-up with surveys and processing compensation. the dates that you, tvwatcher & sabrink mentioned could still fall within that 4-6 week processing timeline that was explained in a response from them. the rep mentioned the 4-6 week period begins after the survey has closed and everyone's responses have been tallied. that makes the date that we completed the surveys sort of irrelevant, and more focused on the surveys deadline... the all elusive deadline. I'm keeping the faith for them somehow, I think they'll deliver, I hope they do. & if not they'll feel the wrath of smart canucks, eh. keep me posted.

I got a survey today to try another product which is exciting. Hopefully this one comes in the next few weeks like the last one.
