Finally the spanakopita was accompanied by salmon (crispy on the outside yum! ) with creamy dill sauce, onion/garlic potatoes for myself and rice for DF and some brocoli.
I forgot to make DD an alternative to the fish so she ended up with a grilled cheese and the same sides as us.

Finally made the lamb roast yesterday with the recipe our son found (http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/l...veg-and-greens ) . Did I mention DH and I don't eat lamb? DS was super happy to have it all to himself, lol. We had baked halibut in place of the lamb with chopped boiled cabbage and mashed sweet potato, carrots, and rutabega.
Tonight's dinner was spaghetti squash stuffed with pasta sauce, mushrooms, ground turkey, and chopped zucchini topped with shredded mozzarella. Pictured below is what I brought to the neighbours' with a cesar salad (they're awesome neighbours!)

I'll be picking up 20lbs next week! Carrots can be added to almost anything eg. shredded into sauces, salads, sandwiches, meatballs, meat patties, mashed with sweet potatoes, turnips, or both! and chopped into soups, stews, and they are fabulous in smoothies. You can also chop and freeze carrots for your soups, stews, and sauces . We go through about 4-5lbs a week between 3 of us here...one super healthy food we all enjoy.

I'm having some family over for dinner, so I want to try and get things ready before they get here so I can relax too. So the easiest is lasagna, wine and I'm going to make my honey garlic chicken wings, wine, and I will prob make some fried rice & meatballs, wine, and do some mashed potatoes later (they love mashed potatoes) and I'm making a cake and will have wine

I bought some pork tenderloins at Costco today for something different. Does anyone have a tasty recipe? I've turned to Allrecipes.com for two of them, they rarely fail me, but maybe someone has a delectable rub/seasoning for the bbq or the oven? I'm a big fan of crockpot, but seems unnecessary for tenderloin.
