    Rubbery asparagus, my favorite!

I found Butterball turkeys on sale at Sobeys the other day for $1.49 a pound, so I bought another and cooked it tonight. I didn't think it would be done in time for supper, but DS wanted to wait for it, so dinner was after 6. After tonight it will probably be for lunches the next few days. DS had turkey with gravy in a thermos last time, and bread to dump it on and loved it, so we're doing that again.

Tomorrow is Father's Day, DH loves ribs, so I bought ribs today. DS and I are going to make him pancakes for breakfast, with bacon in 'em. We have leftover chicken in the fridge too, might have to freeze that since we have lots of other things.

We're going away late next week, so I hope to not have to cook anything for the rest of the week! If we run out of cooked things by Wednesday, it's going to be eggs or soup for supper.

I just put fish sticks and crinkle cut fries in the oven. Still debating on the veggies. We have fresh veggies for a salad, or veggies and dip, or steamed veggies, or be lazy and pull out some frozen veggies.

We had a successful garage sale from 9:00-3:00 today, so I am tired, sore, and in pain (partially from my chronic medical condition). Dh was able to purge and organize the shed. We were looking forward to it.

Thank goodness for freezer finds - slowcooker smoked pork, made rice and mixed veggies to go with, along with salad.

Made a roast beef dinner tonight and I don't make it often. Everyone said it was good but I was not happy with the roast. Think I've been watching too many tv cooking shows, they make it look so easy.

Made a spinach veggie phyllo pie - I swear that sucker weighed 10 pounds, lol! Yummy, though!

Blueberry cheesecake for dessert - usually no one has room, but I made sure they had some!
