Here's the best part. I bought 8 500g packages of bacon yesterday for 89c each from Sobeys because they were best before May 5. One was fried for supper, the rest are in our freezer.
Tonight's supper was chicken thighs cooked in the oven (it's raining outside, so dh doesn't want to BBQ), with M&C and fresh watermelon. Had a glass of milk and my vitamin with it. LO ate graham crackers and mott's apple veggies sauce while supper was cooking. He ate a little bit of M&C and chicken, plus his cup of milk.
I purchased the fresh chicken thighs from Sobeys for $1.79/lb.
