mmmm ribs! We just remembered we have 2 large packages in the freezer! Will have to plan those one night. They are picking the sweet corn now so that may be the menu on the weekend!
Last night was homemade turkey burgers, I used extra lean ground turkey, red onions, garlic, salt, paprika and 1/4 cup Manitoba hemp seeds instead of bread crumbs and then 1 egg white. It was amazing , DH loved them and asked me to make more soon haha
We had them with bbq roasted sweet potatoes and bbq corn on the cob.
Last night we had bbq pork chops and potatoe salad. Was in need of a quick and easy meal with no cleanup, so it fit the bill nicely.
Tonight, bbqed chicken, rice and salad. My roommate will start the rice after work and by the time i stop for salad supplies and chicken it will be almost done and I can throw the chicken on the bbq and be sittig down for dinner right away. I need an early night to catch up on sleep.
I'm having veggie chicken nuggets and I think DH is having beer.
Cabbage rolls buns and a couple of beers.
Tempura Shrimp, stir fry with lots of yummy stuff in it and rice. Haven't decided on dessert let, but DQ sounds really good.
Breakfast for dinner tonight. Eggs, bacon, sausage and toast.
Since both dh and I loved the bean burgers I will be bbqing them again tonight. I'll also grill some corn on the cob and have a green salad on the side.
Spaghetti

I can cook up a storm and usually do but tonight we're having "Fend for yourself and Momfail sandwiches".
Seriously... it is one of those days where I'm merely counting the minutes to my children's bedtimes and then my own. Kids are getting leftovers and sammy's or fending for themselves today... oldest can cook a few things on his own, there is lots of fruit and snacks and veggies and dip, microwaveable stuff etc. to choose from and leftover chicken and rice in the fridge. :D
I on the other hand ate a wonderful "dinner" consisting of an embarrassing amount of wasabi peas, that I snacked on absentmindedly all day and washed down with crystal light... oh, and a hot dog.
Yep. One of those days where zero damns have been had.
I did have a glorious chicken and bacon Caesar salad last night though - I don't always eat like crap. I promise. :p
curry chicken thighs, green beans and rice.
Fresh salmon burgers bought right on the dock-delish!
i had turkey salad wraps, never seen it before, but thought hey if chicken salad is a delicious sandwich why wouldnt it be just as good with turkey - and it was :)
Dinner music for 1_love.
