Steak, roast potatoes, asparagus and stuffed portabella mushrooms.
Christmas Eve meal - adapted and more simple than usual because of my inability to do much. However, it was still yummy.
Cabbage rolls (which I made), perogies (store bought), baked sole, mushrooms and onions in gravy, sauteed onions.
We usually have this as supper - when the first star is in the sky signals the beginning of the Holy Supper.
Today, though, our son was coming (healing from a broken leg and surgery) so we ate around 2 p.m.
I am up early so I can start to prepare dishes to go in later so I can enjoy some time with the people that are coming for dinner.
Tonight is going to be turkey, bone in ham, broccoli mushroom scallop, Grandmas green beans, mashed potatoes and my daughter made a couple pecan pies

Merry Christmas Everyone
..as luck should have it I woke up with a doozy head cold this morning (where the heck did that come from?) I have a turkey pretty much thawed in the fridge but supposed to be going to my aunt and uncles for turkey dinner, however, there will be babies and immune compromised people so I probably won't go, will have to send for delivery :-). Looks like I'll be cooking my turkey tomorrow, TBD. The best news, Santa was here!!
