Taco Tuesday! From Taco Time hard tacos for me, soft for husband, mexifries for both, crustos for me for tomorrow.
..luckily there was leftovers from yesterday. The power was out here this morning from 9am-12 so before going to the cabin at 10:00am I put a pork roast in the slow cooker on HIGH, checked with my aunt at noon to make sure that the power did turn back on and it did but the roast didn't look "done" for dinner so I let it cook for a couple hours more so pork roast for tomorrow! and I kept the au jus to make gravy :-)
Rigatoni with meat sauce, Italian loaf and salad. Apple blossom with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Before going to my daughters yesterday there was still some roast left so we made a beef barley soup for tonight
...home today, regrouping and resting up! Getting ready to go to the cabin tomorrow for the weekend...I made chili, honey garlic ribs, fried rice and a carrot cake (with the help of Betty Crocker :-) ) this evening was the pork roast from yesterday, I made oven crispy fries, corn & gravy

Super Long day, worked till after 5, was working out of town so had to commute home plus had to grocery shop my way home and totally forgot about dinner till I got home so just had a bowl of cereal

Leftover spaghetti squash and a smoked pork chop on the grill.
Pairs well with beer!
