    ...a fabulous day ahead!! definitely no turkey today!! going to clean up some of the leftovers in the fridge from last night AND there is cake ..,have a great Sunday everyone! (Mahomes is back today!)

    I took our a Beef Roast which I will cook tonight, I am not sure if I will do a Sunday Dinner with Gravy and Mashed Potatoes or if I will make something else and leave the Roast in the fridge for Sandwiches this week. We will see how I feel closer to dinner.

    Last week hubby and i celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary (i guess im giving away my age here). So last night i did a Raclette. We had sliced filet mignon, red onions, yellow zucchini, red and green peppers, mushrooms, sliced boiled potatoes, different sauces, crusty bread and instead of raclette cheese i used Swiss cheese. And for dessert, we had blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream. What a feast!

    Making Homemade pizza in hopes of curbing Mom's pizza craving I have been hearing about for days. Not sure of the toppings yet but Mom is home so I will let her handle the toppings since I got the dough going in the Bread Machine as apparently she does not like the Bread Machine.

    ..yesterday made pork chops in the oven, dipped them in an egg bath mixed with milk, lemon juice, garlic powder, S&P and then coated them with crushed Kelloggs Almond Vanilla cereal (hee hee) it turned out pretty good actually, bake for one hour @ 350 deg...today, homemade burgers

    Carrots, carrots & carrots! Ended up wihe 10 lbs + (bought 5lb at the grocery store and ended up with 5++ from a school veggie hamper fundraiser ) so I peeled them all, chopped, blanched and now in the freezer..so baking chicken, potato, sweet potato, broccoli & CARROTS!!!
