Last night Mom had a Hot Chicken Sandwich with some Oven Fries, I do not like Hot Chicken Sandwiches (I cannot handle the combo of bread and gravy) so I just has slices of Chicken with Gravy and Oven Fries.

tonight is Spaghetti with homemade meat sauce and sliced baguette with homemade garlic butter (several cloves of garlic mashed with a garlic masher and butter or margarine, mix together). Homemade garlic butter will last in the fridge for several weeks, no problem.

I'll probably regret using up the spuds and the last large tray of ground beef on a Shepherd's pie but it's an easy out for me, practically makes itself.

Walkonby so happy I grabbed 2 more bags of potatoes last week when I was at No Frills, they were on sale for $2.97 (normally I aim for $1.97, but like everything else it seems we are paying a bit more for everything).
I look at Costco when we went and they had I think it was a 15 lb bag for $7.99, I was tempted to buy it because I cannot go without potatoes but what turned me off was they ere already sprouting and looked a lot like the old bag I had at home that was over a month old.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Sorry to hear about your Mom testing positive. Prayers for you and your family and quick recovering for her.
Just a few hours ago I watched a video of a 92 or 96 year old woman who recovered from Covid-19 and walked out of the hospital today.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

@Thatdone very sad to hear about your Mom contracting this awful virus. Hope she recovers, the toughest part is not being able to visit anyone when they are sick.
