We took out what we thought was unlabeled Pasta Sauce, turns out it was Goulash, it was defrosted so we had it over Pasta with Cheesy Garlic Naan

We treated ourselves. Takeout today! Mediterranean. It was sooo good. Had Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Tabbouleh salad, and Falafel. More than enough! Supported a local resto and got 10% off for pickup rather than those ludicrous delivery services!

In the early hours of Friday morning I cooked up some things so the family can just grab their choice when their work hours sync up. A very large beef stew that I then turned into 2 large deep dish meat pies.
Some thick butterfly centre cut pork chops , crumb coated and baked, and a batch of corned beef hash.
The 2 large deep dish pizzas I made the day before were sort of an accident, it was after they cooked I realized that the recipe for the dough was to make 2 pizzas from one recipe. I made one cookie sheet sized pizza from each recipe...and it turned out a nice thick crust.
Long weekend food!

The weather is nice enough today to BBQ (no wind!) so bbqing chops later, have corn on the cobb to use up and some cabbage that'll turn into a coleslaw and maybe baked potato (some sort of potato dish for sure)
** Every 7-10/14 days I've been making this dessert, the bottom is a graham crumb crust mixed with butter and a little bit of sugar, the second layer is a block of cream cheese mixed with a little sugar & milk, the third layer is jello pudding and then topped with Cool Whip, its delicious!! So far I've tried vanilla pudding, chocolate, butterscotch and today I'm trying pistachio..the last one will probably be lemon. So far the butterscotch was the best but they were all REALLY good!
