Leftovers and maybe some cold cuts on soft buns.
We are having overnight guests so dinner will be-steak on the barbie, potatoes, salad and whatever type of dessert looks good at Costco.
Last night was a last minute clean out the fridge/freezer dinner.
Meatballs, green beans, salad, perogies and sweet potato fries.
Original plan was Pierogi Bake but I started to not feel my best so wanted something nicer on the tummy so made Waffles instead
Roasted Gnocci. It's the bomb!

Well S.O. is feeling from the 3rd COVID Shot (which is amazing and we are thrilled - those who got or know about a 3rd shot will understand), we are just having beans on toast tonight
I found a new recipe in an online newspaper for chana aloo-chickpea and potato curry that I think I will try.
Mmmm, I just found the recipe for that but never knew the words chana and aloo mean chickpea and potato.
I just had to bookmark this to attempt it soon. ( luckily I still have some tamarind paste in the fridge! )
TY @lizzie bargain I'll bet yours turns out delicious.
I just made it and I added cauliflower to mine too as I love aloo gobi-my recipe is from goodfood.com( perhaps Australian) as I got it out of the Sydney Herald-mine does not call for tamarind paste but I am sure any recipe would be tasty. I am serving mine with naan instead of rice-also mine calls for the addition of coconut milk-that makes any curry yummy IMHO.
Oh my goodness! mine is on the very last 10 minute simmer and I tasted the " sauce " see if my delicate tongue could withstand the hot spiciness. Oola la! Nope, so I added 3 tblsp of honey, hoping to balance it out.
I am SOOO tempted now to add some coconut milk to this, i mean it can only make it richer, creamier and better!
I am trying to figure out now what sort of meat I could serve alongside this.....oops, or maybe THIS is considered the main dish? DH and DS will expect a meat, so I'll go with grilled sk/bl chx breasts.
thanks again for posting it here, whenever I'm stumped for meal options I come into this thread for ideas!
We just ate it for lunch and it was super yummy-yes I think it is the main dish but as you say may not completely satisfy meat lovers.
I had a massive migraine headache and father had a appoitment so we went with something fast and simple,.Resto Pizz all dressed pizza it was
