Wow @walkonby I want to come to your house for lunch. That sushi looked soooooo good!
Last night we went to HD and I got through stuff I needed for work and dh and I had takeout from Cactus Club. Love the takeout windows area they have. So we had the Zen rolls and a modern bowl with falafel (all vegan of course). We went home and had a wonderful quiet dinner on our deck while listening to the light rain fall. So relaxing.

Tonight it'll be a lighter meal. roasted red pepper soup, Rio Mare tuna with diced celery, and a bit of mayo, spread onto a piece of Joseph's lavash sheet. Steamed green beans and broccoli. Maybe a 2nd coffee, this morning's was not enough.

It felt like it's been a while since we've enjoyed a good old fashioned roast beef dinner, so that's what is on the ticket tonight!
Sides are mini red spuds cooked in the beef juices, oven roasted cauliflower and leaning towards steamed carrots if I get the oomph to peel them.

The heat today has left me with little appetite. PLUS the bloody hydro went off AGAIN! ( from 3 p.m. till 5:30 ) . I was debating turning on the A/C but with evening coming soon I am hoping it will cool off in here.
My dinner is all pre-planned and it was portioned out at lunch but I'm feeling annoyed and want to make something else now....lol

Last night I used my gnocchi FPC’s and made a creamy garlic and mushroom gnocchi with homegrown lettuce salad with the yummiest tomatoes from university horticulture sale. Huge bag for $2!
Tonight will be bbq smothered shredded tofu wraps. Think shredded chicken but with crispy tofu. With housemate coleslaw and garden salad.

Its been on the cool side here so far, but +20 for tomorrow & Friday so looking forward to bbqs, hopefully! Yesterday made Chinese food so leftovers for today. I also made a couple of pumpkin cheesecakes, not really the season LOL but I had a can in the pantry that needed to be used up. One is in the freezer for a later date.
