ummm Natalka, screw my dinner can I please come to your house?
Uh, gee bub - I was thinking that yours sounds awesome!!!! Do you barbecue the skewers?
The way I'm making the chicken is SO calorific, I don't make it often, but it was the way my mom made her Special Sunday Chicken. It's awesome, but Oh So Butter-filled. Today I don't care!
Bub, of course, you are welcome to come. Let's see - it's just after 3 p.m. here - supper will be at 6 - can you catch a plane by then? Remember, time goes backwards getting to me!
nah today i just stuck the skewers in the oven and then broiled them at the end to get some char...
i am boycotting summer, the outdoors and anything summer related lol

Then I made homemade donuts for desert.
Went to the in laws for dinner, had Steak, potatoes, broccoli with cheese sauce on it, and 10 cent bread from superstore. MIL made a sponge cake! was sooooo good!!
Chinese - its too hot to cook
Perogies with bacon and cheese on top
mmmm roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy lol we didn't even bother making anything else so goood after working 36 hours in 3 days and not having the time to really cook anything!
Since I work nights this is what i will have when I get home this morning. 3-4 all white meat chicken nuggets, a couple breakfast sausage, and a sliced banana on top of a waffle. With a bolthouse strawberry banana smoothie. ;)
It was far too hot to cook - so we had ham, swiss, iceberg lettuce and mustard on everything bagels, accompanied by sides of cottage cheese and carrot sticks (well, my son and I ate the cottage cheese, my husband hates it!)
