ha ha, got mixed up and posted this in "last thing you baked thread". here's what's for dinner tonight and tomorrow...made it last night:
I baked./roasted a flattened chicken in the overn (nice sale at Metro and it had $1 manager's special coupon on it) and made my first turkey meatloaf. got the meatloaf recipe from Rachael Ray's website...i took a small taste and it is yumm-o! eating some of it for lunch today. and still have one piece of roasted lamb chop from Sunday...marinated the chops in a dijon mustard with horseradish and rubbed it down with lots of herbs (oregano, basil, thyme, parsley) and black pepper and salt. Fast fried both sides in skillet before putting under broiler in oven. Most juciest piece of meat eva!
Served up with asparagus ($0.99 at Metro reduced produce cart) and a little rice. Mmm, mmm good!
i love pairing savvy shopping with savoury meals!
