I'm going on a "date" with my 5 year old tonight to a potluck supper and awards ceremony of minor hockey. For the potluck I am making fried rice with brown rice, bacon, shrimp, and green onion (no peas!), and vanilla bean cupcakes with lime-coconut cream cheese frosting

" basketti and meatballs " ( when the boys were small that was how they said spaghetti & meatballs) Made last night enough for 2-3 dinners! More time for me to play here, lol

tonight i'm ordering in for family night! 10 topping pizza with multigrain crust, then popcorn (dd's been asking for it all week!) and a movie - Eat, Pray, Love for the grown ups, veggie tales for the li'l one!

Something with chicken breast - I'm thinking oven fried chicken, potato salad & a veggie salad. I'm aching for some warm weather and a picnic so this will have to do for now

Leftover veggie bacon, stewed tomatoes, tossed salad, and baked potato for dh; I'll be eating a Tim Horton's bagel with cheese (shopping night). maybe I'll spring for a soup too

Last night I used the leftover taco meat and added brown rice and diced tomatoes and a side salad.

Tonight most likely will be REAL Mexican

i think i might have to do leftovers for lunch tomorrow, i am really looking forward to it!

sweet and sour meatballs, broccoli and rice. i made the meatballs and put them on toothpick skewers and my 2 1/2 year old FINALLY!!!! ate them and liked it! i think we're having a breakthru with her fussy eating habits. *fingerscrossed*

chicken burgers and oven fries last night.... Tonight we are going out to Montanas!!!( celebtrating our 3rd wedding anniversary on monday!) so excited!!! we NEVER eat out!!( unless you count getting fries and ice cream at costco lol) I redeemed some air miles for a $50 GC, and signed up for their newsletter and printed off a free appetiser coupon!
