Was finally feeling like my normal self to cook on Sat. Made chicken Parmesan on a big bed of spaghetti. Three homemade meat pies ( with ground turkey, yummy! ) and I have a new favourite vegetable now. It is commonly called Chinese broccoli but I think the package says Gai Lan. It is awesome tasting !

Tried Maple Leaf Prime stuffed chicken breast (yum, but wouldn't buy it without the $5 coupon), with perogies and salad.

I am hoping someone will cook dinner for me tonight. I have spent the day painting and installing furniture, etc all while having Harley's "girlfriend", Sadie over for the week and I was up to 11:30pm last night filling and sanding crown and such.
Wishful thinking :*)

Tonight was really quick. I had a couple of veggie corn dogs and about 8 large strawberries. Afterwards a couple handfuls of cashews.
I know its not veggie, lol but on friday I am making a ton of beer battered fried chicken for a big party.

I made scalloped potatoes today! I haven't tried them finished yet because they're still in the oven, but I finally learned why roux (rouxes?) are so important! They make sauce AWESOME. There is no end in sight to what sauces I will make next.
And BTW, I did try my cheese sauce before I put it in the oven. DIVINE.
The rest of the family is having leftover steak for dinner with their potatoes, but I'm skipping that because I haven't been really all that into meat lately.
