Tonight will be salmon and veggies! Was planning on making lasagne but the weather was too bad for me to get to the grocery store after work to get the rest of the ingredients I needed.

Tonight I have no idea, I have Baked Potato Soup in the fridge but not sure if I feel like that. Will have to see when I get off work.
I managed to stay at the cabin for 2 nights. Things are coming along. Made beef stew on Monday and then the next evening was a BBQ at a cabin next door..yesterday, I was so tired I pretty much skipped dinner...it consisted of a piece of cheese, popcorn and sour patches. Today my other grandmother turns 96!! so we are having a big family supper..I think its turkey, ham, pork & salads on the menu. I'm bringing a dessert (haven't decided what yet, but will most likely involve cream cheese)
For tonight...I have no clue! Didn't plan at all, looks like it might be pizza night.
I've got some veggies I need to use up in the fridge...a sad looking zucchini, some mushrooms, peppers, onions so I think i'll sautee them and add some balsamic vinegar at the end and put it over rice. there's no way my kids will eat that so maybe a pizza for them or some wraps.
Simple slap downs since we are going out tonight. Slap downs are what my dad calls panini's since you "slap them down on the grill" ;). Dessert when we get back will be homemade mini banana loafs :P
Tonight we are having aged cheddar and artichoke quiche prepared by the school chef so I am off the hook for cooking. I believe it comes with Asian cabbage salad. Anything I don't have to prepare works for me!
I'm eating an entire thin crust pizza LOL! In my defense it's my first actual meal today since I was on set all morning/afternoon and got wrapped before lunch! :(
Quiche & spinach salad for me tonight!
:) :) :) :)
Tonight will be chicken and tomato ravioli with marinara sauce topped with plenty of mozzarella cheese. OK and a shot glass of Baileys. :P
TV dinner
cold cuts on a kaiser bun
We ended up with chicken wings from Superstore. On Superbowl weekend they had a good deal and DS loved them, so bought them again, that was our treat for the week this week. Wedges and 16 wings was $20, not that bad, but not much leftovers. I must come up with a better, healthier plan for tomorrow!
Last night was a Grill'em Sausage left over from the other night with roasted potatoes and roasted corn.
Tonight will be homemade pizza using homemade dough from the freezer plus homemade pizza sauce from the freezer. Not sure on the toppings yet will see what I find tonight but with homemade pizza anything goes.
Ribs, rice and veggies.
My grandmother's 96th birthday dinner was a great success...it lasted until 1:00 am with a lot of singing and playing (guitars)..here is a pic of us both taken last night..she looks great for 96!! Attachment 214756
^^ sorry my pics are always HUGE!! lol
I have a need for some comfort food tonight so im making a blade roast french cut with mashed potatoes, gravy and some vegies, probably broccoli (i love broccoli but cant really eat it or i eat it in moderation and even then i shouldnt). As i think i will defrost some garlic bread. Dessert will be a pineapple sundae.
Chili is the plan for tonight......
it was grocery day today! I think tonight will be some fresh Kaisers with deli shaved ham, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. veggies and dip on the side. oh and dill pickles!
no plan for dinner lol. And I don't feel like cooking at all as it was a long week. I asked DS what he would like and he said via text "IDK, you to you :)" Teenager in a good mood. there was his chance to tell me to pick something up and he didn't....silly kid
Tonight we are having boneless/skinless chicken breasts on the bbq with roasted potatoes, fresh asparagus and corn. A meal both boys love and will eat, yeah!
Leftover Chilli served over home cut chunky potato hash browns.
