BBQ burgers- now that the snow has melted!
Tonight will be beef stew made with a base of Garden Cocktail with carrots and potatoes. Will also make homemade potatoes bun to go with it.
I dug a few red potatoes & carrots. Supper is baked chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, fried zucchini with cherry tomatoes (from my garden) and garlic, fresh carrots & a glass of milk.
edit: I also added coleslaw to our meal. I had 2 75c off any Dole salad coupons that are expiring this week, so I bought it for 72c.
Southern bbq baked chicken pieces (they cook two hours in a slow oven, awesome sauce); rice with mixed veggies; coleslaw plus homemade bucket pickles, they are ready!
Beef strips in red wine sauce over egg noodles and garden tomato salad.
Tonight will be mini coulored boiled potatoes, fresh carrots that the neighbor brought us from her garden last night and some type of meat. Maybe a fruit crumble for dessert
Tonight will be Homemade Baked Potato soup I made on the weekend so it will just be a heat and serve night, perfect for a night when I am eating dinner alone. Tried some yesterday and it was so good and if that isn't enough potato might have a couple leftover homemade mini potato buns.
Last night we made brick Chicken (whole chicken on sale for about $1.72LB a month ago) Carrots (4 large carrots from 10LB bag that cost $1.88, mashed potatoes (from 10LB bag that cost $1.88) and 1/2 head of broccoli (he paid too much lol) So an awesome dinner that was cheap and have 2 full dinners in the fridge in Tupperware so the hungry teen can eat when he gets home and is starving :)

I had shell pasta with tomato sauce, along with kernel corn; husband will have leftover chicken with pasta.
Freezies, summer's over!
Cutting up the leftover chicken breasts from yesterday and mixing it with rice and veggies. Easy supper.
As long as Mom remembers to turn on the Crockpot before she leaves for work tonight will be Crockpot Teryaki Chicken over rice with roasted cauliflower.
Leftovers from yesterday and a slice of apple pie.
Gosh it's getting so hard to make something out of not much - so I'm going to bake in a roaster a pork steak, shredded cabbage, onion, celery, carrots, and the few potatoes we have left - just going to season with Italian herbs and broth for it all to bake down in - oh, if I can find a can of tomatoes, will do that instead. Will make some pasta to have with it, since the couple of potatoes won't be enough for my husband.
Busy day today!! smorgasbord of leftovers from my nan..honey garlic wing (yum!) pork chops, fried rice ...:)
p.s. seen this on FB and though it was a cute idea

For me, that's my coffee grinder. Mmmm. Fresh homemade Starbucks every morning. Does life get better than this? I think not!
Last night we had pirate stew.
Tonight???....um...something definitely on the run. It's meet the teacher night and enroute to that event, I am stopping to donate blood. So dinner will begin with cookies--which is always a good way to begin dinner imo. hahaha. After that, I'm not so sure. Whatever presents itself on the drive between blood donation and the school, I guess.
