DS has a class on Monday evenings so we bring supper with us to pick him up. We're trying to avoid eating out, so we load some heated food from home into thermoses I got from Amazon a few years ago for DS' s lunches that were too big. Last night was sloppy joes from the freezer, homemade rolls and rice.

It will be so delicious with a nice green salad.

Roast beef and potatoes are in the slowcooker; will make gravy when done, serve with peas and corn.
@ Zonny- I do this all the time during hockey season since we don't have much time. Tupperware containers get well used! (I bring it to my work and heat up in microwave before picking up DS. When it's just practice he has time to eat in the arena lobby and everyone admires how prepared I am lol while they feed their kids disgusting hot dogs from the arena. It just takes pre-planning!
Both kids have something tonight so it's leftovers/a bit of this and that. Pasta for one DS. Pork chops etc for the other. Not sure what I will eat but will figure it out besides trying to figure out how to be in 2 places at once.
Last night my roommate treated me to ordered in chicken parm and spaghetti. Having leftovers for breakfast right now.

I can't decide whether to have beans & wieners (or kd & wieners) or use up a Groupon I got for a $98 3-course steak dinner.
Lol! Totally opposite choices, but I have been craving beans & Wieners for weeks. I think it will depend on whether I feel like going out after work or putting my pjs on and staying home.
Whopper Wednesday, so I had a Whopper and poutine; husband had three Whoppers and large fries.
3 Whoppers! Wow! One and I am stuffed!! I actually ended up going across the border to shop after work and didn't get dinner til now. I swung by BK for a Whopper a minute from home but they were already closed :( But its Okay :top: cuz I am having my Bush beans & wieners wit a bit of hot suace. Happy tummy!
yesterday I did my flattened chicken on the bbq...it was really good...it was a small chicken so for the last 1/2 hour I turned on all 3 burners and cooked the chicken directly on the heat to speed things up..and did a potato packet, with onion, garlic, s&p and rosemary....corn on the cob....so good...
for today, I'm still deciding...I have lean ground beef so might make burgers and grill them OR might make spaghetti as it's kinda cool out there this evening (but burgers would be less work & less clean-up :) )
Trout fillets and veggies on the BBQ, with Basmati rice and a glass of wine.
Grilled smokies on fresh buns with veggies and fruit on the side.
Homemade veggie soup - have fresh yummy bakery buns, so those with whatever sandwich meat we have.
