DH made the most amazing roast chicken with bacon and mushroom dressing, spuds and gravy. Just sitting back now with a glass of Yellowtail Shiraz and waiting on a piece of cake

He fried the bacon, added the onions, celery, and a can of mushrooms. Used Bovril chicken boullion dissolved in hot water, poured over dry bread cubes. Added in the bacon mixture, salt and pepper, and baked in a casserole in the oven. It was amazing

Slow roasted pork back rib tail end thingies. It's the same meat as the back ribs but the stuff they trim off the end and it is soo good and soo cheap! The whole pack cost a little over $3 and we had enough for at least 3 plates. That with leftover spaghetti squash and steamed green veggies. Ahhh... comfort food.

We're going out for dinner at Il Fornello tonight and using the coupon we received in the mail today for one free pizza up to a value of $14.99. I think we are going to be adventurous and try the fig pizza!
