I don't think I have ever been so excited to eat leftovers as I am today
TURKEY!!!! OMG my first turkey was a HUGE SUCCESS!!! My mom couldn't stop raving about how amazing it was and how flavorful and juicy it was
.
I am fighting the urge to eat it for breakfast
BTW I made the turkey, mashed taters, 2 kinds of stuffing (DH likes the Stove Top so I made some for him, homemade gravy and sweet potatoes roasted with fresh rosemary and garlic

Glad it worked out, harbie! I've only done a few turkeys, myself.
EAT it for breakfast; I know I did - with gravy, on white bread, lol!

I price matched some , ( well 6 actually ) pkgs of the Walmart Prime skinless boneless chicken thighs that were on sale up till the Thursday at Food Basics. Each pkg should have been between $13.00-$14.00, but I got every one of them for half that!
So I made another larger batch of them simmered in VH sauce. Wow, nice eating when you know you got a deal.

Pizza Pizza's $13.99 anysize special
Went for the extra large of course: 4-blend cheese (instead of mozzerella), mushrooms, tomatoes, pineapple on dh's half, roasted peppers & italiano seasoning on my half. 1 Coke, 1 Brio, 1 dipping sauce. Good deal.
Why do I call it a "my half" when I don't get half?

My meals are all messed up.. I can't stomach some 'normal' food so I had the weirdest concoction of stuff. At 3 I had 2 janes chicken burger patties w/ plum sauce. Also made soup but just one bite and I realized it wasn't a good idea I ate any more
Then my friend got me a white hot chocolate from timmies and surprisingly I was able to drink it. I had some chicken BLT salad at 11, and 2 pickles.
My fever is still up so i'm drinking some cold green tea while the gingerale flattensPreviously CanadianBella... I'm baaack!

I threw the Prime Rib roast into the cast iron dutch oven ( man that pot is so heavy ) at 7:00 a.m. added onions all around it. The roast filled the pot right up too! Smells pretty good in here right now.
Defrosting the ground turkey to make Chili later.
I'd say we are good for a couple of days.
