What's For Dinner?

Last night we had pulled BBQ pork on buns with coleslaw and fresh asparagus.

Even though I bbq'd some veggie dogs the other night it didn't curb my craving for a hotdog I have tried a few brands and kinds of veggie/tofu dogs and they don't work for me. I reeeeeeeeally don't want to cave and eat a "lip and bum hole" hotdog but I might just have too!

Last night I made waffles from scratch with fresh strawberries, raspberries and bananas with a vanilla flavoured whip cream and warm maple syrup

Last night we had chicken souvlaki breasts bbq'd, with greek fries and a salad adn bbq mushrooms.

Tonight...perhaps a veggie stir fry

I might be crazy but even though it's a zillion degrees outside, I'm making homemade chicken soup tonight. I've just got an urge, and there's a lovely chicken waiting in the fridge....
I figure I'll just put it on to boil, then just not go back into the kitchen for an hour and a half, lol!

Omg, that sounds heavenly!

We had bbq'd jalapeño sausages again (it's an addiction in our family) with rice and Romaine lettuce picked fresh from our garden.

Tonight I made "black bean burgers" that I shaped into hotdog buns(cause that's all I had on hand ). They were loaded with garlic,diced onions and red peppers. We topped them with fresh tomatoes, homemade guacamole, and mushrooms sautéd in fresh garlic and white wine . It was yummy and soooooooooooooooo filling!

Waffles sound really yummy. Have you tried the Yves brand regular veggie dogs? (not the spicy ones). I cook mine in the oven. Just slit the casing with a sharp knife and put them on a baking sheet, rolling every few minutes so they cook evenly. When they start to puff up all around and look funny, they're ready and taste delicious.

Hmmm, maybe I know what's for dinner tonight now...

Tonight i made Courgette Rissotto and green salad followed by fresh strawberries.

I caved @ lunchtime after bloodwork tests and bought Adobe chicken from Barrio Fiesta ( best Filipino Food ever! ) . I blame the fact that ya have to fast for them to take the blood, making you vulnerable to the smells when you walk out of the office. No fair!

We just finished dinner not too long ago and you have me drooling even on a full stomach, lol.

Tonight was bbq'd rib steak, more salad, and fried zucchini with onions. I have a feeling we're going to be eating a lot of zucchini this summer. I managed to mix up the seeds when I planted our garden and it ends up we have 9 plants . Gonna have to google zucchini recipes soon, lol.
