KD, boiled sausage, boiled mixed veggies. We spent all day doing our garage sale in the heat and wind, so I kept it simple.

I am planning a Sea-Food-A-Thon!
Well so far I have 2 lobsters, a bag of really large shrimp, both fresh and frozen pieces of cod and a salmon steak. Will saute my salmon steak in the pan first then most of the cod fish will follow, a few of the smaller pieces I will do in a tempura batter and deep fry.
Going to divide the shrimp 3 ways....a few cold served with seafood sauce, some cooked on a grill brushed with garlic/herb butter and a few will also get battered and deep fried.
Since the lobsters are already cooked ( they came that way frozen ) I'll just warm them up but I may also break out my cute lobster buddy butter warming dish.
I am also making some spring rolls ( lol...I know, that is not in line with the seafood theme ) filling them with bean sprouts, fine diced cabbage, bok choy, sauteed chx breast meat, green onions, bell pepper and a tiny bit of either General Tao or soya sauce. I'll bake these instead of using the deep fryer.
DH and DS have their single sized servings of store bought salads if they want ( macaroni and potato ) to have those too.
I will be rounding out the remainder of my plate with steamed broccoli, snow peas and cooked carrots.
I might take a nap first before I start.....hee hee

Everyone's meals sound SO very good over the past few days, I enjoy reading them.
I'm still really sick, going through the day not really eating - today was just a few soda crackers during the day.
However, I really 'felt' I could eat real food for supper - my husband is in the hospital, but our son had come over to check on me - so he went and got a few Chinese combos for supper, plus wonton soup for me.
So I was able to have a few wontons and broth; a shrimp, some yummy chop suey, a few forksful of fried rice, and a bite of sweet and sour pork.
That's a lot of food compared to what I've been eating - but the best part was that most of it had TASTE (which is what I've been missing).

my hubby went out with my BIL right after his shift so we were on our own. I called up my mom and we went to my parents for dinner, mom made lemongrass beef which dad grilled on the barbie. She also fed my baby so I can eat my meal in peace and quiet.

Saturday night was our company golf tournament and they switched up a little bit this and we had a buffet of Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding, Carrots & Gravy. (Normally we have Steak, Baked Potato, and Cesar Salad).
Last night we had Chicken in Mushroom Soup over Rice
Tonight will all depend on how hot it gets today as that will determine which appliances I am willing to use, the joys of no AC.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

..the only good thing about suffering through cooking dinner yesterday is that I have lots of leftovers for this evening; will hash up in a fry pan with onion, leftover roast beef, salt meat, peas pudding, cabbage, carrot, turnip, potato, molasses figgy duff (without the figgy) and lots of leftover gravy
