@KelJo us too! This Butterball was every bit as moist as the last one at Christmas, so I am shocked there were any leftovers.
Sent eldest DS home with meals to last a few days...and dumped some treats on him too so the temptations are gone now.
The ham or pork loin roast ( I still am unsure what that hunk of meat was from the Sobeys prepared hot foods counter ) but I brought one home uncooked at Christmas ( froze it ) and cooked it up for Easter.....my goodness! The flavour!
Anyhow things are sort of back to normal, guys are back to work today. I pressure cooked up one of those Boneless Blade steak roasts that many of the stores carry now. They always come out so tender and flavourful. Plenty of veggies available to match it up with, but DS and DH may go with salad this week if the weather is nicer.

we have another storm headed our way +20 cm of snow for tonight & tomorrow, ready or not this weekend coming up I'm setting up the BBQ (unfortunately, high winds, cold temps and enormous dumps of snow does not allow for winter patio bbqing, but its happening this weekend regardless of weather )

...no more turkey!!! lol...going to braise beef simmering steak and make rice and a veggie stir-fry to use up some of the veg in the fridge (spinach, orange pepper, cauliflower, mushrooms, carrot, etc) I'm out of onion (cooking/sweet) and its too stormy here today to go to the grocery store but luckily I have a small piece of red onion and a few limp green onion that will have to make do!

Last night Mom made pasta with a little bit of bacon, some mushrooms and a touch of cream with some Pasts Water. Turned out well and didn't set off pain yippee
Tonight she is going to try making a Sheppard Pie using left over Roast beef but will need to cut ALL fat off and make the gravy from broth only no dripping to keep the side pain free and happy. Hoping this isn't too much but will only eat a little and have a salad2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
