Thread: What's For Dinner?

@walkonby I like them, very soft and buttery tasting. Usually have eggs in them though so if I’m trying to be vegan I try to not eat them much.
For dinner tonight I had the lightlife vegan burger from Harvey’s. I like it because you can add so many different toppings there. I had ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, hot peppers, jalapeños and pickles. With frings which are probably not vegan depending on how they make the onion rings lol kinda ruins my take on trying not to eat the brioche. I ordered using skip the dishes and the service was very fast and friendly.

oh!! @KelJo what a glorious regal purple! ha ha
I am glad the first pkg of those evil Brioche buns are eaten up ( by the family ) , it was becoming a terrible temptation for me because as you mentioned @cabmonk they are SOOO soft!
I sniffed one and it reminded me of egg bread.
The gang loved them for their burgers so that was that.
The ribs are all done cooking now, just pulled both deep aluminum pans from the oven. One batch was very lightly coated with the remnants of a bottle of Chx & Rib BBQ sauce watered down and the other batch I coated using a mixture made from some some commercial garlic spread, Tamari, black pepper, dried chives, Italian seasoning and ( extra ) garlic powder.
I boiled all the ribs first, which I normally pressure cook, but there were too many!
I do love the boiling removes much of the fat.
The finishing off in the oven tenderized the meat even more and crisped, browned and welll....I am so sorry @KelJo , now you're probably even more hungry!
