I made a chicken pot pie

hubby worked day shift today so after he dropped off birthday present for our nephew; he picked up burger and meat lover calzones (all the meat they have on their menu including donair meat) from the local restaurant.

DH and I cooked up yet another one of those frozen Butterball " footballs ". Oh so very yummy with Stove Top, instant mash and baby sweet peas. Oh yeah, gravy and cranberry both....lol.
That was Sunday, but lots left still.

Yesterday, i picked up a BBQ chicken from Metro while grocery shopping. Tonight for supper will be hot chicken sandwiches.

I'm going to make a Shepherds pie. It's something that I have never made that well, the potatoes weren't smooth enough and it was kind of dry. I found a recipe that uses some beef broth and I'm going to make smooth potatoes. (DH laughed and suggested that I cheat and use instant ones...nope, I'm determined to get it right)

Tonight we are going to have Homemade Mac & cheese with a side salad. We could not decide on a protein so we are skipping the protein tonight LOL.

yesterday I made veal parmesan without the veal lol..used pork cutlets instead, it turned out really good. Today is the last day of Christmas, Old Christmas Day! usually we celebrate with a turkey or ham but I'm not bothering this year. Will probably make pizza later and whatever else, will still celebrate with lots of drinks!

Not feeling my best today, I have had a headache all day and am really tired (probably because of he heachache) so just going to pull homemade soup from the freezer.

Had a few ideas for today but discovered our mushrooms went bad so that knocked out those ideas.

Plan D - Homemade Burgers pulled from the Freezer with Oven Fries and we may make gravy to go with the fries, we shall see
