Miss Jessie enjoying our stop on the Mira River mud flats.
The eagles nest just above where we stopped on the Mira River. You can see the baby eagle in the nest. The baby is almost as big as her mom but no white head. The mom was soaring around and the baby would cry if she came close by.I think mommie eagle was watching herbaby as close as I was watching mine!! Scared she would scoup up Jess!!
What should be my daily walk if I wasnt so lazy!! This is the section of the Trans Canada Trail just below our house.

Well my day is shot because of some "soccer game" that's happening later this afternoon. Guess I will be cleaning up the damage from the storm the other day. Doesn't do much for hydrageas that's for sure.

Met mercyehm, her cutie patootie baby and very tall DH. What nice folks.
I was cutting my hedge and a bunch of wasps were bugging me which is sort of normal. Then I went to cut the other side of the hedge and noticed them flying into one spot by the dozens!!!!!! Freaking big nest in there. Funny because I cut the hedge 2 weeks ago and it was not there. Had DH run to Canandian Tire and by the foam bomb stuff. hehehehehehe bye bye nest. I'll take a pic. after maybe once they all die.

Okay, I'm stumped. I have washed and mopped my floors (parque & linoleum) 3 times and my feet are still black. What am I doing wrong? Any tips on how to get my apartment floors clean would be appreciated.
I'm sure half of the problem is that some old guy lived here before me...but the fridge and stove/oven are like new.Earn FREE amazon.ca gift cards through swagbucks

Hm... maybe try vinegar and water - there could be a greasy film trapping dirt which the vinegar would cut through.

I know what you mean Jo. I think I did the floors 10 times before they got clean in our old apartment. The mops were black! Hertel is good for hardwood with a crystal or varathan finish because it gets anything organic off. I tried almost every cleaner even bleach. LOL

I agree - vinegar works wonders. Maybe even a vinegar/rubbing alcohol mix (I swear I singlehandedly can keep the rubbing alcohol makers in business).
