Okay, I'm stumped. I have washed and mopped my floors (parque & linoleum) 3 times and my feet are still black. What am I doing wrong? Any tips on how to get my apartment floors clean would be appreciated.

I'm sure half of the problem is that some old guy lived here before me...but the fridge and stove/oven are like new.

Here's an off topic question. How are you finding the difference as to when the sun sets there compared to NW Ontario?

I did live in Toronto for 6 years and the only thing I miss are the Jamaican patties.

There is a little pizza joint near York U called Tasty Pizza. They have some of the best pizza in Toronto. They did a student survey and they were voted the best by the students and who knows pizza better than a student!

The real thing or the Canadianized versions (big difference). & don't even think about the frozen stuff if ya want decent food.

Ever make it downtown to Kensington? Cheap yummy food, although now that it's a tourist trap, prices are going up.

I didn't go down too often. I would usually go and walk downtown. I always loved the World's Biggest Book store. I could live there.

As for the patties, I got them from vendors in the mall. They were possibly frozen, but I liked them for the taste and spice.
