Surreal moment in the car this morning, Sweet Home Alabama playing on the radio and I see Kiera bopping her head and singing along. Thinking she has heard it many times on the radio and in Forrest Gump which we just watched recently she says hey I love this song, I said yeah it plays alot on the radio she says crinkling up her nose at me, it's NOT from the radio it's from the movie Despicable ME and gives me the eye roll.

And jumping through hoops too! She'll be a good mother later in life just by the way she lectures Kevin about what he should do and not do. She even gives him consequenses to his actions and punishments if he doesn't so as she says.

I remember the first time it happened with me and my little brother, who is ten years younger than me. I forget how old he was, but he wanted me to listen to a new cool song - and I started singing along, and he was 'like how in the world do you know the words, it just came out?' - it was "Smokin' in the Boy's Room" - duh, of course I knew the words!

Well it snowed all of a foot or so of snow last night, which around here is more than enough to cancel school...so the kids are outside playing in the snow, DH is busy cursing because he has to work in it, so he's out digging the car out (they don't plow side roads here) and I am inside trying to figure out what I am going to do today cooped up at home.
