Thw weather is warming up and motivating me to get things done!!! Laundry, dishes, vacuuming dusting cleaning.......everything in a blur!!! 4 more garbage bags filled for donation!!! and I think 4 shopping bags for the food bank.

Sad day today, I did not know it until I spoke to a friends daughter today but a boy in my sons school has cancer and my friends cousins got his neck broke by a chiroprator and is all but brain dead, some eye movement and some eletrical activity, but there's nothing they can do for him.

Oh, geez, Patty - both awful situations. Hoping your son's friends has a type which is treatable....

About the chiropractor situation - that's so horrible; there have been other cases of this from neck manipulation -

In 1998 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, 20-year-old restaurant supervisor Laurie Jean Mathiason fell into a coma on her chiropractor's table minutes after a neck manipulation she received for a tailbone injury; she was dead three days later.

Patty so sorry to hear about the horrible news in your neck of the woods. I hope the boy is able to get treatment.

Just the thought of chiropractors reefing on someone's neck and back makes me squeamish...I refuse to see one. Another reason I won't go is because an old childhood friend is a licensed chiropractor but can not longer do the work because she had too many "adjustments" while in school.

Here is one happy puppy, lying in a puddle of sunshine, eagerly awaiting spring. This is the dog that cried at the window every time it snowed this winter. He watches the melting snow drip off the roof with hopeful anticipation. He is, Max!



PS Please disregard the pile of laundry he is using as a pillow and my grimy baseboards. And I know he looks really skinny, but the vet assures me he is healthy!

What a sweet boxer (I don't think I've ever seen one asleep. even when I babysat one - she was constantly wiggling & squirming ).

I'm constantly getting the "Oh, she's so skinny" & "Oh, he needs to be fattened up". Both brats are on the cusp of being overweight, but my neighbours don't see it that way - their pets are all roly-poly.

They'll have to go on a diet before Easter, so they're skinny. Every time we hang out at my folks', they get a dozen meals a day, just cause they're so very cute. & hungry. They've convinced my parents that I only feed them on holidays.
