You would think that with the holidays I woudln't have to cook but I just made veggie frie rice, minestrone soup, penne with tomato sauce and boiled a bag of mini potatoes to go with the sausages I am thawing out. Sheesh

Patty I hear your angst and raise you 10 ! My "pet peeve" is I cook way ahead, many times making a week's worth of different things, then I " blink" and I am hearing " so what are we having for dinner? " WTH???
Does everyone just inhale the stuff in one sitting? Oh yes and we will want the skinny on when you cook that massive turkey!

Massive turkey cooked yesterday, deboned it and did half the breast as breaded cutlets, the other half roasted, wrapped the dark meat in foil with spices and roasted it with the 2 ginormous legs. Made gravy and mashed taters a big pot of stock and another pot of minestroni soup because Kevin ate the one I made on Tuesday. Like I said WTF all I do is cook. Last night at 10pm he wa making a "snack" plate of turkey and mashed taters and gravy. To heat up his soup Kevin uses my 4 cup Pyrex Measuring cup in the microwave, that's his "bowl". At that rate I will be making another pot in a few days

I must have been looking at an older post, missed that about the turkey being cooked yesterday. Sounded so delicious.
So even with all that made, this is how I feel most days. Honestly, where did all that food I made go?
