You are doing reno's Patty? Sounds like you're doing the kitchen. Mine is still a work in progress. It got put on hold this last month, but dh was a cabinet makers on Saturday and saw our cabinets. They will be installed by this weekend I guess. Then the countertops, then the doors for the cabinets. Can't wait.
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

Still in the design stage for a new kitchen for my mom. The whole house is 1955 original from when my parents built it. Looking to have cabinets, counter and bay window installed, the rest will be DIY projects.

Yup kitchen, today i did the counter top, i installed granite tiles that we cut yesterday, and i painted the celing and part of the framwork. No new cabinet for me but new paint, backsplash, counter top , stove, and table that's enough lol
My house is 1958 and i do not even have cabinets they are built in frames with doors on them . It's all one big open cabinet upper and lower they all connect. For me to rip the whole thing out would have been impossible with the 6 of us, my folks are here too we cannot go with a kitchen for that long

Having a rough time dealing with the death of a good friend. Having a picnic lunch with the brats later to try to cheer us up (weather is gorgeous here).
