I have learned a few things after 22 years of mariage. "Yes, dear" being one of the most important ones.

At the wedding I performed on Saturday, when I asked the Groom, "Do you take (Bride) to be your wife, to blah, blah, blah, ...", he answered, "Yes, Dear." to her....everyone had a good giggle....I love ceremonies like that!
Yah...that marriage is going to work!

Holly....you're so absolutely right, it really IS the best job in the world!!
Even meeting my couples (I have 2 today)...it's so uplifting to hear how they met, chat about the dresses, decorations, oh...and the ceremony, lol....it never gets old!!

I have the best neighbor everrr!!!!
Mentioned to him I wanted to seal the driveway with that black roll on stuff this week. Come home today from work and he had pressure washed my driveway clean, and he got rid of some leftover broken interlock bricks that were piled in the corner!!
He is so fricken awesome! LOL

This is the fruit pie from the book Forks over Knives. All fruit filling and a nut and date base crust with a bit of vanilla extract. No added sugar or processed foods of any kind. Best of all: no bake!

Hmm, pie looks, and sound delicious. Hmmmm, pie, who doesn't love pie. So many flavors it's hard to decide, so have a bit of each....apple, strawberry and banana cream...

So, I finished grouting my tile yesterday in the kitchen. I know Patty....it took me forever. I was having some trouble cutting the tile as the marble pieces kept shattering. I had to wait for a special order cutter to come in at Home Depot. I was using a glass cutting saw and it was crushing the marble tiles. Sooo, long story short, it's done. Just have to wait 48 hours, then I can seal the tiles and grout. I will take pic's today and post them.

Last thing to do is get a piece of glass cut for the corner cabinet and buy some LED lights for under the cabinets. I will do that (the lights) next month, as my kitchen budget is totally drained after paying for the tile cutting blade. I hope I can sell it oon Kijiji to recoupe some of the money.

that looks lovely, except I can't eat any of the regular pies. Mine only has fruits and nuts, no flour, added sugar or added fat.
