Drinking iced tea. Watching TV. Reading threads while the kids are in bed. Off to fold laundry.

Okay I am really going to fold the laundry now. It is so much more fun tweeting on SC than Twitter.
I have also just successfully had a conversation with myself...where is that thread...You know you are addicted to SC when...."There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."

Thinking about going to Ottawa this weekend. While I'm there I may drop in on Stevie and give him a piece of my mind

I just have this feeling that he's fine . As for the shopping, I'm jealous too, just think we could look in a few stores, laugh at each other as we tried outfits on that made us look absolutely hideous and of coarse had a nice lunch on a patio with "Goblets of wine(of coarse this all takes place on a Saturday )

Not nosy at all, Natalka....it's because he had a special kind of surgery, Mohs surgery, and was perfomed at Women's College Hospital in Toronto...here's what they say about it on their web-site:
About Mohs Centre
Mohs micrographic surgery is a detailed surgical procedure to treat aggressive non-melanoma skin cancers, mainly on the face and neck. Mohs surgery is not done as a routine procedure. For most routine skin cancers, simple cutting out (excision) or scraping is done. Patients who come for a Mohs procedure have been selected as having unusual or more difficult tumours because of their type, size, location, or failure of other techniques to produce a cure.
Referral Information
Patients are referred to the centre after the diagnosis has been confirmed with a biopsy, and the cancer is considered complex. Patients must be referred to the centre by a dermatologist, otolaryngologist or plastic surgeon.
If you're interested (and I'm sure you are...you're so inquisitive and I mean that as a compliment!!) here's how it's done:
http://www.skincancer.org/skin-cance...FUgDQAodiFnphw
It was so interesting how they had about 20 people there that morning...and it was like a revolving door! Person in for surgery, back to waiting-room to wait for results...next in, then back in for more surgery if required (hubby had to have it twice), then wait for results...anyone in the military would have marveled at the precision! After he got the "all clear", he went to the plastic surgeon (is that what they still call them?) to be stitched up. He had two areas done, and anyone who didn't know he had surgery on his almost bald noggin' wouldn't even see them! It's amazing what they can do these days!!
