I know that it is already past mid-morning & I have no excuse,
But, I couldn’t decide between the green or whether to go with chartreuse,
It’s been a sluggish start to the day, & I needed caffeine infusion,
& misplacing my new glasses only added to my confusion,
I was flipping channels last night & wondered what happened to TLC?
The learning part has become a half-assed lewd part, this is reality?
19 Kids, Toddlers, Gypsy Weddings, Sister Wives & Couponing,
People who eat detergent & chalk; do they go Honey-Boo-Boo-ing?
We’ve endured Hulk Hogan, The Kardashians & Cheapskates,
We broke Amish & saw the demise of Jon & Kate & their eight,
Now we’ll be seeing a botoxed Pete Rose who turns 72 this year,
Hot tub splashing with his silicone fiancé, smiling with dental veneer,
Why these “productions” are consumed is a concept I cannot comprehend,
These shows will not stand the test of time, nor will they ever transcend,
Come to think of it, I have a thought or an idea for a brand new show,
It’s about people, who post on threads & have their highs & lows,
They have quests to earn hearts & get cheeky & even sometimes win,
They chatter amongst themselves, oh the places they have been,
They are romancers; they’re dancers & folks, who post answers,
They have energy, they have charm & style that just transfers,
They love dogs & they love cats,
They’ve had spats & long chats,
They like movin’ & shakin”
& how they love bacon’!
They make jokes; they give pokes by way of giving likes,
Holy smokes they’re just folks & some of them like to ride bikes,
Get ready to tune in as the characters evolve with flux,
