I have a few eye hooks in the ceiling of the window and I string lead core line from eye to eye then the ornaments are hung with monofiliment. Some of them are pretty heavy but there's nothing like fishing line for holding them up and it's invisible. It may look like a lot of decorations but I collect them after christmas(many years) at sales otherwise the prices are crazy.

Tired after a long weekend but the weather looks good for the whole week. Well, no snow until at least the end of it anyways.

After 9 months I am about 1/4 inch away from growing out all my dye! Woohooooo! Can't wait to start counting the greys!
Ladies, I must admit, not dying my hair every 4-5 weeks has been great. It's a pain.

Cool, Patty, are you in the haircut you want it to be? Otherwise, just get it cut and restyled and the rest will come off right away.
I just never could imagine dyeing hair all the time.... I have two sisters who do it all the time. The oldest never did, and she has gorgeous grey/white hair.
Once in my mid-20s, I did one of those temporary dyes; my hair is light brown, and I wanted a bit of auburn highlights. However, it went clown orange, arrgghh! I had done it on a Sunday afternoon and in the small city I was in, there was nowhere open that had hair dye for me to fix it. I washed it like a million times that afternoon and evening, and it just turned straw-like in texture.
I was working as a journalist then, and had to go to work the next day. It was fair parade day, and had to be out there early because our company was sponsoring the parade... so I thought I could duck and cover a bit. However, my BIL saw me - he was there to be on the float with our MP, and the shocked look on his face when he saw me was priceless!
Anyway I had to get through the rest of that day, then went home and dyed my hair with regular Clairol - and it was a medium brown, a lot darker than my regular hair colour. That evening I had to go work at our church food booth at the fair - and had to answer all the questions about my hair! Sheesh - anything was better than the clown hair!
So, I vowed I would never ever get it done again.
Luckily, as I got older, I realized I'm the only daughter of four who got my mom's hair - here at 48, just have a few strands along one temple, and that's it.
OK I forgot this was the twitter thread, so MEA CULPA for exceeding the character limit, but my brain and fingers go quickly!
Ta!

I have been cutting every 2 weeks so it doesn't look that horrible during the process. LOL I like it and the grey is really mixed throughout and a little more in the front which kind of softens the look. I guess I'll stick with it for a while. I have the same color hair as Kiera but with a little more reddish in it.
