  1. Hi, Hon!..I just realized I had a photo of Jenny on my home page of her on 'our' swing outside....I just thought I'd send it along to you...
Hope there's some semblance of spring where you are!!! Toodles!...Lynn

  2. Dixie sounds sweet.
Yes, I have a dog too. His name is Jake, & he's just a year old. He's a Havanese, & I absolutely adore him. He's like a kid, always needing / wanting attention. Smart as a whip, but loves to play with me, or lay in my lap. lol
So far, no wet stuff yet. They're now saying, around noon. I hope you have a good day.

  3. Lol. Yes. She's a3year old Doxie...Dachshund, Black and Tan, a princess, last one up in the morning, a devoted lap dog, affectionate, and everyone who meets her just falls in love with her and she just takes all the attention she can get, lol! Do you have any pets?
As for rain...it kills that white crap... The sooner the better!
  4. Thanks, but I'm afraid not. They're calling for freezing rain over night, & in the morning, followed by 2 days of rain. Only plus, it's not white, & maybe it'll wash some of the snow away. Fingers crossed. I've more than had enough. Shouldn't complain though, I don't live in the maritimes - thank goodness.
Jenny, a dog I presume. What kind of dog is she, & how old?
  5. No....no coat?!?! {{{jealous!!!}}} I sat in the backyard with Jenny pacing around on the snow, sniffing into the snow banks, and had contemplated just going out in my sweatshirt, but nope, not yet. I hope you get to do that again tomorrow!
  6. You said it!...Yes, it's almost here!!!!
  7. Oh, my goodness, that pic you posted with the two dalmations hugging??? Just melted my heart....there's something truly ... I don't know the word to describe it ... something so naive, so filled with love, in the soul of a dog that I wish mere human beings could even begin to comprehend.
They're only a little lower than Angels.......but not by much....
  8. Thank you for that heart-warming sentiment, and for the rep of course.
  9. Have a lovely weekend and thank you for the reps, Hon!
  10. lol - I wish; took my son & dil out for their anniversary dinner
  11. Have a lovely Tuesday, Hicks.....even though you got in a little late last night? Hmmmm??
  12. Trying to think 'spring'! Thanks for the rep, Hon!
  13. ...for your rep!!
  14. They truly a blessing. He's my 1st dog, and he's just wonderful, just as you said.
I think he had fun. We spent 2 hrs in the park. (I was frozen)
Thank you, and the same to you and your family. I pray that you knee problems will improve, and that 2015 will be a happy, & healthy one for you.
  15. Oh, but aren't our pups the most wonderful little creatures in the world?! I look at our Jenny and wonder how I was so lucky that she entered my life...all our dogs were just as wonderful...just a little lower than angels...
I hope he enjoys is birthday!!
Happy New Year to you and yours, Hon!
  16. Thank you, and know I will.

  17. I wish you & your family a very Merry Christmas, and a happy, HEALTHY new year.

  18. Thank you for the rep, Sweetie...sweet dreams bless you, Hon....
  19. Oh my dear heart....I'm so sorry for the passing of your Husband, your injury.....there 'a really no reason for many of us to feel sorry for ourselves!
    Bless you this Christmas season.....
  20. I know, I was reading, and feel badly for you, but it sounds like you're coping a well as can be expected. Keep up the good work. As for me, much better than the past few years. Buried my husband on Dec. 7th - 6 yrs. ago (he was 56) Then 2 1/2 yrs ago I broke my back. I was @ the hospital 5 days a week, & just got out of my w/chair the end of Jan., then ditched the walker in April. Still walk slowly, and had some REALLY bad days, but I'm walking. So, hang in there, work hard, think positive, and you'll get to where you want to be. All the best to you.
  21. Thank you, Hon...I can't complain: I did a whole lot of damage to my leg so the recovery is and will be slow. I was hoping to walk by Christmas, and although I can take a few steps without my cane, it can hardly be called walking, lol. Now I'm aiming for our trip to Washington in April.
I hope all's well in your corner of the world!
  22. Thank you, 22hicks...for your reps and your kind words of support...there is a light at the end of this long tunnel...I just hope I find it soon...
  23. Happy Thanksgiving to you!
