    Clam chowder eh? Ty for the reminder about biscuits! Sometimes when that chowder craving hits, it hits. This is why I keep a stash of the
    bottled clam juice and tins of clams in the storeroom. Bought heavy cream yesterday so we know that chowder will be made this week! ha ha

    Thanks for the tax tip but DH does the taxes every year and he resists change. He's been using that program for years and making a suggestion to him to try something different would earn me a look of scorn and an earful of choice words Thanks anyway.

    ha ha !! you and my DS have great minds! I made a typo in the Sobeys rant but have since edited it.
    My total was $104.00 not $114.00....and you are right, groceries are not taxed BUT this shop I was buying some cat treats and vitamins which are taxed. Anyhow I was so grateful that the CS gal did not make me feel awful....she simply fixed it all up.
