Allo, I had a good trip to Mtl, although an accident had the 401 closed on the way back on Monday, adding a good hour to my trip. At 3:09pm on Friday, I was finally enjoying my pool, after gardening 'til 3pm. I also waited for you to show up (as per your rep), but nobody showed up. Too bad, because it was a gorgeous day. I didn't know K & the G did jazz. I should look it up. Later!

I like all the 80's groups you mentioned. Great to dance to and for the gym. Back off Boogaloo I couldn't stand....and still am not crazy about it! I saw Kool and the Gang at the Molson amphitheater in 89 or 90. It was amazing.... I was darning the entire time and front row seats.... Did you know they did jazz before their dance stuff? CHOM used to play one of their tunes as a commercial. I will see if I can find it. See you later!

Never heard of Back off Boogaloo before Hall and Oates, however, I like. I grew up in the 80s, so I did enjoy such unmentionable acts as Madonna, Wham, Michael Jackson, Prince, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool and the Gang, and even the Village People.

The way I drive, your mom may have a heart attack before we get to Mtl The trip was good, and I found out I'm going back in July as well as September... It's going to be a busy summer, with all my trips, and family coming over for visits as well. Just hope the weather is nice. The end of May certainly wetted my appetite.

Hi, I came back yesterday. No Crunchie bites for you, I'm afraid. I've been up since 4:30am, can't sleep anymore (that's 10:30am Paris time). Balloon ride was a bust, the weather did not cooperate. Everybody was disappointed. They ended up taking us up on a thethered (sp?) balloon, up about 30 meters. Better than nothing

I work downtown TO. I can see a bit of lake Ontario between a couple of building. And I get front row seat for the Labour Day air show at Ontario Place.

Hello my friend! Haven't been ignoring you, but with the weather, it's getting difficult to log into the computer. Thanks for the birthday wishes. The brother in law party on Saturday was good, except for one thing: the hockey game. But that was out of our control. And then what a beautiful Sunday and even better Monday. But now it's back to work

db = data base not quite. d is my last name initial. b stands for brother. db band was the high school "band" my brother and I formed. I use the word band loosely, it was instrumental stuff with trumpets, sax, clarinet, drum and bass. I resurrected the name when I registered for Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and decided to use it here.
