It's a town of around 900-1000 people, many whom are on welfare or mother's allowance. They are in the system for years, their moms, them, and soon the kids. We own our own home, and they put income housing at the other end of our street, so we see alot of it. Plus their are alot of retire folks in the area, which, few worked, and many again used the system all their lives. It is hard to explain to the children, who are only 2 and 4, why their mommy has to go to work, and is tired when she gets home, when they see all these other mommies walking up and down the streets at all times of day. Worst thing is, I think we still spend more time with our children then they do.

thanks for the rep. We show them about saving because we live in a small community where alot of moms and dads do not work, and they can't understand why we both leave for work. This way I hope they grow up understanding how to save, plus how to work hard with their minds. Take care, Moe
