Hmmm.. fave highlight... I suppose for me it would have been when DH took the two kids to a game and they were trying to get a baseball from Ricky Romero during batting practice.. he found one for them, but wouldn't toss it up to them until he found another one.. can't have one baseball with two kids... I though that was really classy of him - what a guy

Another highlight for me was an autograph session before a game with several Jays players - every one of them was very nice to my kids, posing for photos, signing autographs and joking around with them - they could have just signed and moved on, but they made a point of talking to them... Scott Downs, Edwin Encarnacion, and Brett Cecil were the three stand-outs for me

Not game-related highlights, but nonetheless... great memories And I will be cheering for any team playing against Altlanta or New York

One thing I don't get is pitch count.. Marcum was doing just grandly - had he stayed in the game, I bet the Jays would be looking at win 85 rather than loss 77... but no, his pitch count was high enough so he was pulled. Then I thought Scott Downs also did an admirable job (very nice person too, I might add).. then KG came into the game.. I did a facepalm.

As for the new manager? Guess we'll have to wait and see. Scott Downs and Jason Frasor both become free agents in the off season.. eep! I'd love to see them hang on to Bautista.. free agent or not after the next season, I'd like to think that he'd chose to remain loyal to Toronto rather than go with the Spankees or that other team that I so dislike - the BoSox - they'll surely be able to offer a larger paycheque, but Toronto is also the city that gave him a second.. third.. fourth?? chance after basically the entire league gave up on him.
