shhhhh... i don't like hocky anymore... only four more months until pitchers and catchers report to spring training...

i didn't go to that particular game... i had gone to four games already that week - i was baseballed out lol!! Dh and dd went... i had gone to the three mariner games that week plus the baltimore game on saturday - we were three rows off the field on the first base side for that one.. nearly got pegged in the head by a line drive foul ball!! if the lady sitting in the front row one section over hadn't put up her hands, i'd be typing this with a baseball embedded in my forehead Mostly though, we sit in the 200 level above third base - i find i can follow the game a lot easier from up there than down low... and 4 degrees?? i'd better bring in my indoor plants today then... sheesh.. bye bye summer

Oooo, we got two of those shirts.. dh took dd to that game.. she floats in it, it's huge!! I would have loved to go to the final Cito game, but couldn't make it.. rats... watched most of it on tv though, was nice to see some of the alumni.. did you see the catch that Joe Carter made from the TD green seats? It was priceless lol... It would sure be nice to see Bautista hit that many, but what would be even nicer to see is for the Jays to hit just a few more HR's - 11 i think - and then they will be MLB's all-time leader for HR in one season.. WOOT!! They're sitting at # 4 right now.. GO JAYS

Sounds like someone was watching over you that day! What an awful feeling though and shakes you up pretty bad! I've had so many near misses on the highway, which p*sses me off cause it seems I'm always the one trying to avoid BEING HIT! lol I had a truck come into my lane once and had no choice but to move left QUICKLY! BUT, if I had been one more lane over, the only place to go would have been smushed into the guardrail! And that last time I nearly lost control, it should have been a 4 car accident, with me smushed in the middle lol. I knew this guy was coming over before he even moved. There was a car directly beside me to the left, and a car right on my ass. just before the guy hits my front end, I had to jerk QUICK to left, but ever so slightly enough to not smash into him, or freak him out and make him go into the next lane, all the while, having to maintain my speed so the guy behind me didn't rear end me. It was the longest 3 seconds of my life! lol

$9.75 for a beer?! I'd pass too! I'd have brought my own pop, probably spiked with something though lol Oh C'mon, who doesn't enjoy a good sideways spinning across the 403 in rush hour?! Actually no, not fun at all. Last time I was on the highway I almost lost control of my car, trying to avoid someone changing lanes right into me (must have had my cloaking device on again ) and trying not to hit the person beside me at the same time. Haha, you know what? If I won 23$ million i probably STILL wouldn't pay $9.75 for a beer! lol That's cool that they won and that you got some freebies out of it too

Hey again! The TC coupons are have were from some magazine in Toronto. Sunraven sent me lots just because, and then she held a contest to give more away lol, and I won some more. The damn thing says one per purchase though, and they expire Sept 30th, so I've been trying to use them all up! Mission almost accomplished lol!
And I never got the one that was supposed to come to my address either, just the one that I had sent to my mom's came. You should write them and tell them you'd love try the coffee, but you never recieved your FPC! Maybe they'll send you a couple. And yeah, it sucks about my door, but ah well, worse things could have happened. It just sucks because I'm a really careful driver, I've never hit anyone or anything, I've avoided tons of accidents, only to have a stray shopping cart nail my car on a windy day lol. Ah well, what can you do? lol

Aww, I didn't even know Price Chopper was any good lol. But there is still one on Colborne Street E, I think. Wow, looking at the flyer they seem to have good deals. Ragu + Primo soups $1, Cheerios $2, but I'm new to this lol. 1.7 km away though, I think might be too far for us to walk, and we couldn't stock up well. But if I had a flyer and were going to walmart, I could price match all those likely? Now to hope we get flyers soon. My partner grew up in Paris but we've lived all over since. We were nervous about moving right into downtown Brantford but so far, so good.
