That's fantastic! Seems like you got some incredible deals! You and your BF's condo will be gorgeous next year! I didn't venture into the post-Christmas madness this year, as we had a new wave of visitors (family) up from Cobourg. And yes, it's warming up a tad, -13 this afternoon, then for the rest of the week, nothing below -10! Practically balmy! ;-D

I had a great time home, and of course everytime I leave I miss it I went to Walmart and got a Christmas tree for $27! Then went to the Superstore on Lasalle and got $100 worth of Christmas decorations for $22! So I am all set for next Christmas...will be mine and BF's first in our new condo! I hope the weather is a tad warmer for you all over there tonight...I FROZE the past few nights...-37 with windchill is just to cold hehe. Hope all is well! Take Care

Oh a Chili's would be great! A few of my friends worked at Vale and sadely had to look for other work to support there families bc of the strike.
I am currently in Mississauga with BF, so not to far. We try to go up once a month to visit my family. And yes I agree the boardwalk was a very good idea! And we do need an Ikea hehe

Yes, we've become quite the cosmopolitan centre! LOL!! Actually...the only thing we're missing is an Ikea! And maybe a few more restaurants...Olive Garden...Chili's...The new boardwalk along the lake is absolutely lovely...if one has time to take advantage of it!
So...where do you reside? And I agree...the jobs here are few and far between...and with Vale still on strike, I think a lot of families, and businesss around here will be hurting
this year.

I still go up every month Lynn! My mom and dad live there still and they love it. It is a pretty place..cold but Ramsey Lake in the summer is one of a kind! Not many job opportunities though.
