This crap is getting old. It's -21 with a windchill of -26, so that tells me that there is only the slightest hint of breeze out there. BFD. Tomorrow will be equally as wonderful with a daytime high of -16. I don't know how you cope with this every year @Natalka . It's a nightmare for me.

Sorry you have to deal with it - we had over a week in the big deepfreeze, but now are enjoying relatively mild temps. However, the frigid temps will come back at some point in later Jan. and in Feb.

its ffff freezing here! had to crank up the heat...hope nothing freezes like pipes. i am not stepping outside today. i really HATE the cold...but i hate 90 degree temps even more.

SW Ontario. Cold. Darned cold. x2 darned cold. We use an airtight that does an amazingly good job in heating the house; we don't like putting on the electric because our area of the world enjoys some of the most expensive hydro rates in the world. Thank you, government, you always come through! Last night, it was -23, and I used a timer to let the dogs out when they demanded it. No more than 10 minutes each. Happily, I work at my computer most nights and, so, I can tend the airtight and care for the dogs. With round the clock airtight tending, the internal house temp. hovers at about 18-21 degrees. The latter is when sunlight helps out, as it has been doing for the last few days. I hear we are getting a break next week.

Today, we had to go out, not like last weekend when we said 'oh well.'
Tomorrow -7 and Monday +2.
I can hardly wait.

My car has had enough of this crap too. At night I keep it in the garage, but at work there is no shelter for it. Friday afternoon after work, I had to hold the key extra long before it would start. Then the stick didn't want to move into drive, then I'm driving down the road and the cold has screwed up the sensors because its telling me I need to service my air bags. Ahh!!
