...a nice afternoon, +5 feels like 0 and sunny, another stormy weekend ahead:
SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
ssued at 05:10 Friday 02 November 2018
Rain and Wind Saturday and Sunday.
An intense low pressure system will move across New England on Saturday and approach Labrador on Sunday. Rain associated with this system will develop over southwestern Newfoundland early Saturday and spread to the remainder of the island Saturday night. The rain will taper off on Sunday. Rainfall rates are expected to be heaviest Saturday night along the southwest and west coasts of Newfoundland, with accumulations of 30 to 60 mm by Sunday morning.
Additionally, strong southwesterly winds are expected with this system over much of the island, with current guidance indicating the potential for southwesterly winds gusts between 100 and 130 km/h over exposed areas and along parts of the coast. Winds will develop Saturday night and persist throughout Sunday.
Additionally, a combination of high waves and storm surge may cause higher than normal water levels and pounding surf along the west and south coasts during high tide on Sunday morning.

Minus three now, going up to zero.
I guess there were huge snowflakes yesterday morning, but I missed seeing them.
We may get snow later, maybe rain.
