Nice sunny day today. I was out in the front yard picking up winter crap from the yard and spotted my blooming crocosus or is it croci^ anyway, they are blooming!

dipped just below freezing last night...but it's warming up nicely now.

gorgeous sunny day!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im almost finished doing a batch of laundry which hubby will hang outside and im getting ready to go out in the back yard and survey the damage from winter. Looks like hubby has a fence plank to mend and im going to see whats what with my flower beds and garden beds.

You know people call dandelions weeds, but they are the most beautiful flowers! I always pick a small bunch and bring them in the house. Their bright yellow colour cheers up the kitchen and brings sunshine in. Love them.

Not too bad a day, but cloudy/sunny mix and a lot colder than yesterday. But we finished raking the front yard so the place looks spruced up a bit. Chatted with my next door neighbour a bit. Single young man, been off work for about 4 weeks, and told him if he needed anything food wise just to come and see us and we would be happy to help.

Total rainfall: ranging from 25 mm over the southern Avalon Peninsula to trace amounts over western Newfoundland. A rainfall warning has been issued for the southern Avalon Peninsula.

Maximum wind gusts: 80 km/h except 100 along the south coast and locally 120 along the west coast. Wind warnings have been issued for for the south and west coasts.

Locations: Newfoundland.
