hysterectomy going to happen

I havent had a hysterectomy but was advised to get one due to the ongoing monthly(or should i say biweekly) issues...i went for second opinion and ended up have my uterus lasered clean...now i get my periods about 3 times a year, still cramps etc but nowhere near as bad as prior to the surgery. I am 42now, but had this surgery about 5 years ago and had been dealing with this since my first child at age 25.

I have had severe pain since oct/09, hysterectomy is my only option and i can't wait to have my rotten uterus gone!

I had the same as you, so much pain for many years. I had a Hysterectomy in 1991, they took everything except for one ovary, best day of my life! No more pain, no more periods, it was truly liberating for me.

I had my hysterectomy at 30 yrs old....They left my ovaries in, and I'm soo glad I had it done. No more discomfort or pain, and I have had no hormonal issues at all. My recovery was fairly quick, just no lifting or heavy housework for a few weeks. you'll be so glad once it's done. Good luck!!!

tHIS IS WHAT i HOPE THE OUTCOME WILL BE i WANT MY LIFE BACK SO BAD i AM STARTIN TO HURT AGAIN GOT TO TAKE MORE PAIN MEDS THEN TAKE GRAVOL THEN GET DROWSY OR GO TO BED ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER VISIOUS CYCLE I WANT IT DONE NOW BUT 2 MORE DAYS TO GO!
